                                                         COUNSELING AND GUIDANCE FOR ALL

The organization’s counseling and guidance extended to the community members is a vital tool in bringing about moral change in all areas of life.                                                                                                      These services are open to all even upon request. DHOLF Team counselors range from the elites (professional counselors) to experienced counselors. Elderly people pass words of wisdom to young people during the counseling and guidance sessions.                                
                                                                                                             Apart from the counselors, to prevent crime and cubing down the rate law-breaking in the country, pastors, Police men and women, Local councils and other law enforcement organ representatives help in the training and teaching of the laws to young people and members in the community.
It should be noted that such representatives are interviewed, tested to see to it that they suit the standard of the expected outcome; those found to be more profession help in the training of trainees with an aim of production of teams that focus on continuity.

There are many places where proper counseling, guidance and training of Christian ministers, young people (both boys and girls), families, and different groups has not yet reached, though a few have received it.
In some cases, the services rendered have been too political with less effect on people or even not effectively rendered in sometimes.          

People remain at the crossroads in difficult and confusing circumstances and situations with greater hunger and thirst wanting some support, guidance, moral uplift to be rendered to help them face the future with much hope, ease, great determination to do whatever it takes in good faith to reach the attainment of their goals successfully.

SUPPORT
DHOLF Organization in addition is involved in offering support in different forms to the needy people in the community. Items granted to such people include:

  • Clothings. – (dresses, shoes, trousers… and beddings…)

  • Education and Scholastic materials – (school fees, books, pens, pencils, colors.)

  • Food (assorted)
  • Medical support – (where need be and is in our reach.)
  • Counseling, guidance and evangelism – bringing healing to the heart and spirit.


CAMPS
The Organization organizes Youths and Teens Camps in different places. The first 6 annual camps were held in Entebbe at Country Lake Resort – Garuga. The seventh Youth and Teens camp is to be held at Alakara Junior Academy campus in Kigombya– Mukono district.                     The aim of these camp meetings / conferences is to further support young people with information and skills that help them focus on the right priorities.

We witness the impact of our services left on families, schools and the young people especially those that welcomed us. Other groups include those on social media especially Whatsapp, Facebook and website. Many testify how they have changed from worse to better, from being lost to self-discover, from self-hate to self-love all of which come from making better choices in life. The discovery of our availability has not been 100% based on advertisement but rather Word of Mouth to others as the beneficiaries have been inviting their friends to join us as they testify about the miracles God has done for them through this ministry.

It’s the impression of this impact felt and results seen, the testimonies of the ‘clients’ in the community that keep the organization’s members and directors on the tiptoes to further reach out to the calling voices from all over the world screaming in the midst of confusion, dilemma and difficulties desiring a hand to pull them up out of the valley of issues or even a voice to bring life and hope.

In such a time, our verbal information- in-put cannot be enough to put all entanglements to the end and bring Heaven on Earth.
Men and Women need to be equipped with skills and knowledge that would enable them to become job creators rather than seekers. Such skills can be applied to produce products and farm produces from which they can earn a living as they work with their own hands.

Its been found out that young people in poor families struggle to find a way of living. Many of these young boys and girls are school dropouts some of whom are a result of high levels of poverty which could not afford parents to pay fees for them, others forced out due to indiscipline acts of involving in sexual acts before the right time: the result of which included early pregnancy leading to early marriage, rejection in which parents and guardians deliberately refuse to continue paying fees for such people. Other cases are as result of peer pressure and ignorance about sex education and lack of proper and continuous counseling and guidance.
OUR PRAYER
It’s our prayer that God  will continue to use DHOLF Org – Staff, members and supporter in this generation to bring about the desired Kingdom of God mentality, character , love and the change via the use of Godly given skill, talents, wisdom, knowledge and revelation; to produce the true change and extend the good news to the young men and women as we continue to educate the Christian community and appeal to all to support Christian missions to build up the ministry and a God fearing generation.

The Organization goes further to define the issues that are face young people and the nation due to lack of the “light” in the midst of the surrounding circumstances.

We defend the rights of Christians to believe the true gospel and to freely do the work of their Master assigned to Christians in the whole world.
God has a purpose for everyone from any class, culture, and can use such people to proclaim His supremacy in and above any beliefs, norms and cultures in the whole world.

What true Counseling and guidance, evangelism and support can be in future when this ministry remains on the Agenda of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of spreading, teaching and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God to all nations.
